...the girls will play!
This weekend, RJ was out of town for his brothers engagement party. It was just too much for Harper and I to travel down to Florida also for the big event, so us gals stayed home.
As much as I love my husband, I also love my alone time.
I'm very much an introvert & thrive on being alone. Sorry if thats weird.
I think its because I'm an only child so I literally grew up alone (besides my amazing parents, of course..I mean without siblings around me all the time to steal my privacy)-family vacations, holidays, etc.
Friday morning, we took RJ to the airport then came home and relaxed :)
That night, we went over to my parents house that night for some pizza, which Harper looooves so much. Its so funny, she gobbles it down so quickly.
My mom started putting her holiday decorations up, and Harper is fascinated with the tree!
She got a tubby while at Mimi & Pops, then she kept playing with the lights on the tree.
|She loves her little princess towel!|
After Harper went to bed, mama poured herself some wine & watched Trainwreck.
The movie was okay..pretty predictable but basically what I expected.
It was funny though..I did laugh out loud at some parts so that is always good!
On Saturday, it was a gorgeous day. We spent some time playing outside, blowing bubbles and kicking the leaves around! Harper also rode around in her little car and she literally thinks she is driving-its so cute!
Mimi called us & asked if we wanted to go run some errands with her, so of course we did. We went to Michaels & they have some of the cutest holiday stuff. Must. Have. Self. Control!
Sunday, we took our daily trip to Target and grabbed some Starbucks, of course.
We did some more outside playing, napping then went to pick up RJ from the airport! Harper lights up when she sees him & it makes my heart just explode. Its adorable :)
We were rooting for the Eagles of course. They let us down once again!
Betcha you thought this post was going in a totally different direction based on how it started out, huh? ;)
Have a great Monday, friends!
