Weekending-Christmas 2015 recap!

Whew! The holidays are over and now its time to really relax and unwind before we gear up to start a new year!
We had a great holiday with family, and now everyone should prepare for picture overload.
Don't say I didn't warn ya!

Thursday morning, we woke up and hung out in our jammies a bit. Homegirl thinks she's a big girl who can play on the computer, sit in a regular chair and climb on the table. No ma'am.

Just hanging out with her big sister on the couch. Nothing to see here!

I had a hair appointment then that morning, and decided to go a little bit shorter with my hair. It was hitting me at kind of a weird spot on my shoulder, and since I had already cut it I figured whats another inch or two!?

Since it was Christmas Eve & all, we then did presents with each side of the family! The in-laws came over to our house to do presents, then we went over to my parents to do presents. It was pretty relaxing and I liked doing them this way instead of feel overwhelmed and overloaded on Christmas morning!

Girlfriend thinks the Christmas sled decor is all hers? What is that about!?
We got in our new matching family Christmas pjs, hit the hay and waited for Santa to show up the next morning!
Some snuggles on Christmas morning!

Matching family PJs! Love them & this is one of my favorite traditions ever!
Told ya I'd get my Starbucks on Christmas! :)

We are big Christmas Vacation fans, in case you couldn't tell!

We deep fried a turkey for dinner and it turned out amazing! So so good. If you can do it sometime, I highly recommend it!
It was raining out, so the men had to made it work by hanging out in the garage!

I decided to try out some red lipstick. Don't think I'm a fan, but at least I gave it a shot!

Um, it was like 76* outside. It was basically summer. It was humid and sticky and hot and did not at all feel like Christmas. I wore flip flops, for goodness sake! There is something wrong with that picture!

The rest of the night we just ate waaaay too much, relaxed then hit the hay!
The next morning the girls all went out for some day after Christmas sales. I got some fabulous things at Pier 1 that make my heart so super happy!
But first, we need to just take a second to check out this perfectly sweet and adorable baby girl of mine!

Saturday night we had a date night and went to the Capitals game. It was a lot of fun and the Caps won so it was a great night in my book!

And Sunday we did nothing. Because we were pooped from the weekend and visitors being here.
Happy Monday! Hope everyone has a wonderful, easy peezy, short week!

Linking up with Biana!

  1. Umm I think our kiddos could be best friends. Climbing on everything and obsessed with the computer? I swear I am reading about my own child. Love her Christmas jammies, and yours too! And send a few degrees up this way, it is like 5 degrees outside in MN today! :-(

    1. do it, do it, do it! You'll feel so free afterwards! It took me exactly 8 minutes to blow dry my hair the other morning! I used to never do my hair when it was long because it took sooooo long! Let me know if you decide to take the leap! xox
