Happy Easter! A little late, but better than never, right!?
My parents own a shore house in New Jersey, so our family tradition is to go there for Easter weekend now! Its a lot of fun, and my aunt has a son who is 11 months older than Harper, so the two of them are so fun together!
*warning: picture heavy post ahead*

|Wait, your family doesn't do a "happy Easter" cake!?|
Time for the egg hunt! Since it was just the two little ones, we did it in the yard. They had a blast!
Just a little friendly egg hunting competition!
Harper's basket. Its so hard to get her stuff for her basket because if she needs something, we just buy it! So I got her some things she likes, like bubbles and sippy cups (she loves to drink out of the cups like mommy has) since she can't tell me things she wants!
Her basket is Pottery Barn-we got it last year & I can't find it online anymore!
But here is a similar liner & basket! And they are on super sale right now..like suuuuper sale. Great time to buy one for next year!
Backtracking a bit, back to Friday & Saturday!
So, on the island, theres a little bar. Like such a small building, but its great. Like a "where everybody knows your name" kinda bar. My parents took Harper on a walk that afternoon & they stopped in to say hey to the bartenders!
It was a yucky, gloomy day on Friday, but Pop took Harper for a walk to see some of the ducks!
Little chick got her first taste of chocolate. She loved it, but it made a "mess" and we are not good with messes over here!
My sweet sista cousin, Gracie.
Theres a great zoo right up the road, Cape May Zoo. Its ranked one of the top in the nation and I am so impressed every time we go. Its free & they have so many animals!
|DO YOU SEE THE BABY JOEY IN THERE!?|
It was a great weekend overall. It was super chilly, but we made the best of it! We tried to go to church on Sunday, but they did not have a crying room and homegirl does not do well sitting still or keeping quiet so that was a total bust. We came home on Monday & it was back to the daily grind! Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend!
